Former glamor girl is said to be taking singing lessons

The woman who took glamor modeling to the level of art and built a very successful career on it, Katie Price, once known solely as Jordan, is looking to branch out into music again. She’s already started singing lessons and is said to be thrilled to get into the recording studio again.

May the Powers That Be watch over us all.

Katie is one of Britain’s most famous exports and has led a scandalous life that’s made it possible for her to not work for a single day of the rest of her life, if she wanted. However, she doesn’t – and fresh off giving birth to her fifth child, she is said to be back to work again.

She’s not taking herself seriously, but she will give music another try

This is not the first time Katie flirts with (pop) music, but she’s probably thinking her efforts will have better results than on previous occasions. She infamously tried for the Eurovision in 2005 (her abomination of a performance is included in the video below) and even released an album of duets with her ex-husband Peter Andre.

She deserves credit for not losing hope though – and for always believing in herself.

A spy tells the Daily Mail that, this time, she plans to try a more temperate approach to breaking into music, so we’re probably not to expect a full-length album just yet. Still, it’s happening!

“She is having singing lessons, but has been really busy so hasn’t been to any yet. People think she takes it seriously but she actually doesn't, she's the first one to admit she's not the best singer in the world and it’s all a bit of fun,” the insider reveals for the tab. You can definitely say that again.

Katie Price is actually “quite talented” a singer

“It's not a serious attempt at a pop career. She’s always said Eurovision is her biggest regret, so we won't be seeing her on there again. She's actually quite talented. She's not Mariah or Whitney, but she's not bad at all. She's looking forward to going in there and seeing what happens,” the unnamed tipster continues.

If she’s curious to see what happens when she goes “in there,” then she’s looking to launch a career in music, so that part about her not being serious at getting one is not true.

Plus, at this point, after so many attempts, chances are no one wants to fund Katie’s musical endeavors anymore, so she’s footing the bill herself. As reality star Heidi Montag found out across the pond some years ago, that can be very expensive – and can even lead to bankruptcy if there’s no other revenue coming in.

That won’t be the case with Katie though, because she’s making a lot of money off her various business projects, including clothing lines, books, and accessories. Still, she’s not in a position in which she can’t be “serious” about it, because no one wants to act silly when millions are going down the drain.
