14 DAY TRIAL // It's been a whirlwind adventure ever since Katie Price announced on her Twitter last week that she would be divorcing from her husband Kieran Hayler after she caught him having an affair with her best friend Jane Pountney.
Today, we're getting reports that Katie, a former British glamor model who went under the name “Jordan,” is seeking spiritual guidance to help her decide whether or not she should be divorcing Kieran after all.
After the affair was disclosed, a furious Katie threw Kieran, a part-time exotic dancer, out of her home and made him sleep in a log cabin on her property while she thought out her next move.
The psychic idea seems to have come from Katie's mom, Amy, who has advised her on the same path before. It was also a medium recommended by her mother that recommended her to marry Kieran back in 2013. So far, the whole spirits thing doesn't seem to be working out fine.
Katie herself admitted that the medium she saw at the time prior to her wedding only gave her the go-ahead to marry Kieran because she was told that the man of her dreams would be called Kelvin and she thought the name was “close” enough.
A source close to Price is quoted by The Sun: “She's a big believer in psychics and Amy wants her to feel it'll be OK in the end. Things are so awful, she needs spiritual guidance. She wants to ask about the consequences of a divorce.”
“It's hard for her, especially as she's worried about her pregnancy, but this might give her hope,” the source adds, hinting at the recently revealed pregnancy of the glamor model, who is now believed to be six months in her pregnancy with her second child by Kieran.
“It's no laughing matter for her. She's desperate for answers. She thinks they're scheming to get their stories straight. And she says Jane would have liked flings with several of her exes - but only Kieran was stupid enough to fall for it,” concludes the source.
Spirits or no spirits, it seems that Katie still has a little bit of common sense left, because she's hired divorce top lawyer Fiona Shackleton in her divorce from Kieran, to make sure that he doesn't get a single cent of her multi-million-pound fortune.
Shackleton, known among divorcing circles as the Steel Magnolia, has made a name for herself with some very public divorces involving famous couples. Among them were Prince Charles and Princess Diana, Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mills, and Nigella Lawson and Charles Saatchi.
Katie and Shackleton have worked together before, on Katie's famous divorce from first ex-husband Peter Andre.
