Katie Price Buys Customized, Neon Pink Range Rover

Because she probably considers herself a real-life Barbie, Katie Price (aka ex-Jordan) loves everything pink. In fact, she loves the color so much, she even has her own fleet of pink cars, to which she’s added another customized vehicle: a brand new Range Rover.

The new car was delivered to Price’s house the other day, the Daily Mail informs, and it’s bound to prevent her from passing by unnoticed in traffic, even though she often complains about being hounded by the paparazzi.

The Range Rover comes to add to the pink car fleet, made of a (pink) Beetle, a (pink) scooter and a (pink) horsebox, all emblazoned with Price’s sparkly tiara, which also appears on her range of clothes.

The new addition is believed to have cost around £80,000 before all the customization, which most likely doubled its price, especially since it also includes a diamond-encrusted clock.

“The Range Rover features a diamond encrusted clock worth £25,000, while the wheels, exhaust and pedals have all been changed to aluminum,” the Mail writes.

All this work, plus the fresh paint job, has been done at vehicle company Project Kahn in Bradford West Yorks, whose people say it’s the most fun they ever had with customizing a car for a celebrity, particularly because of the crazy color.

“Everyone was quite excited when we found out the car was for Katie Price. It’s a top of the range Vogue with all the fittings and extras such as a satnav. She bought the car and then it was brought to us to do everything to it,” a spokesperson for the company says for the Mail.

He admits that they were never before asked to paint a car in this shade of pink and reveals (to little surprise) that Price herself picked this shade out of all the color samples shown to her.

“She’s had bits of the interior changed, the pedals have been changed to aluminum and she’s even had a diamond clock inserted. The exhaust was also altered, it’s now aluminum and a bit louder but really that was just done for aesthetics so it looked nicer,” adds the rep.

The Sun, which also has a better photo of the Price’s new acquisition, reports that customization even extended to the plates, which have been made to read “KPII LEO,” meaning Katie Price and Leandro Penna, aka Leo, her current boyfriend.
