Earlier this week, Katie Holmes stepped out to a private spa to get a facial treatment and massage and, after seeing this picture, people jumped at the chance to comment on the ghastly looking 27-year-old. While many suggested that it was just the lack of make-up, combined with post-natal depression and the long weeks of sleepless nights, others may even more (!) took her appearance as confirmation of the stories that circulate about Tom being, well, the tyrant of the house. Or, on the other hand, maybe she was just caught in a bad photo. It happens to a lot of celebrities and Katie would be just one of the many snapped while blinking or opening their mouth to say something. All of the above are possible and, considering that no one has the complete story behind this public outing or about Tom and Katie's private life, all are likely. But, if rumors are true, maybe Katie should do something to get her life back. Ever since with Tom, she lost her good looks (as unimportant as they may be), her career and her entire life as she knew it. She has become Cruise's shadow and the scapegoat of the press. All in all, and without any malicious thought in mind, if the famous Tom Cruise is as rich as reports say (and even if he isn't), he should hire somebody to take care of baby Suri and, if Katie is depressed, he could give her that treatment that he recommended to Brooke Shields: vitamins and a lot of exercise.
