Katie Holmes will be back for the Batman sequel, according to "Batman Begins" producer Charles Roven, quoted by Sci Fi Wire. Tom Cruise's love will soon be the love interest Rachel Dawes, the assistant D.A who stole Bruce Wayne's heart by the final credits.
Apparently, Katie Holmes was previously pushed back from the sequel as she had been getting too much attention for her relationship with Tom Cruise.
Michael Caine as the butler Alfred, Gary Oldman as police detective Jim Gordon, and Christian Bale as Batman/ Brucie boy have all been confirmed for the sequel.
The producer said that Chris Nolan is expected to confirm his presence in the project.
