Actress Katie Holmes is thinking on changing her name after the wedding, from Katie Holmes to Katie Cruise, a thing that neither Mimi Rogers, nor Nicole Kidman did it.

Katie, 26, who plans to marry her boyfriend, actor Tom Cruise this year, confessed to close friends that even though its old-fashion, she's thinking into changing her name from Holmes to Cruise after she will exchange vows with her finance.

According to American magazine In Touch, a source tells the publication, "Tom calls her Kate, so he suggested she start going by that professionally."

Tom, 43, started to date Katie Holmes, 26, in April 2005 and after only three months, he proposed her at The Eiffel Tower. Katie Holmes decided to convert to Scientology encouraged by Cruise.
