Katie Holmes’ Special Diet Revealed

Katie Holmes is looking so frail and tired because of her new diet, rumor has it

Each year, the Academy Awards honor the best in cinema, from actors to movies and music. At the 2009 Oscars, one of the most notable no-shows was celebrity couple Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes and, while their absence generated much speculation as to their missing out on one of the most important events in the industry, it has been recently revealed that it was Katie’s diet that was to blame for it.

However, Katie is not looking to lose any weight, as an insider is telling the US media. She is, though, trying for another baby, which is why she must undergo a “punishing” detox diet that often leaves her too tired to be able to do anything else, several media outlets are saying. The regimen is also the reason why she could not attend the Academy Awards, since, combined with her grueling working schedule, it made her too “lethargic” to be able to make it to the gala.

The diet consists of “herbal drinks and a purification procedure to eliminate toxic substances,” the Daily Mail writes, in accordance with the teachings of Scientology Second Dynamic, a book that reportedly includes advice and guidelines on marriage and children. If true, this would explain why Katie has been looking so exhausted these past weeks, as also her impressive weight loss, the actress looking now more like a shadow of her former self.

“Katie has almost rid her body of toxins but sometimes it makes her lethargic. Tom’s encouraging her to stick to the diet because they are hoping to conceive baby number two.” an unnamed source close to Holmes says, as quoted by the aforementioned publication. As noted above, if what the spy is saying is accurate, then the detox diet could explain Katie’s haggard look as of late, as well as her missing several other important events in the movie world.

Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise already have a baby girl, Suri, born on April 18, 2006. Suri is now one of the most mediated celebrity kids in Hollywood, both because of who her parents are and also because until September 2006 she was not seen once, which prompted the tabloids to speculate whether she was real or just a publicity stunt meant to bring Cruise back in the spotlight. From what is known so far, Suri was conceived without any help from this detox diet that Katie is reportedly on right now.

A common brainwashing technique used by cults is that of malnutrition coupled with sleep deprivation. By supplying a diet to their subjects that lacks the proper amount of proteins, vitamins, and minerals necessary for a healthy body and mind, coupled or not with sleep deprivation, their subjects easily fall prey to suggestion whether it is direct through discussion or indirect through literature.

Sometimes I am amazed at the foolishness people will believe. The Scientology detox program does not have diet restrictions other than you ensure that you get plenty of vegetables along with what you would normally eat. I have done this program. Plenty of sleep-8 hours is the recommended amount- vitamins and minerals are all a part of it as well. Before you go posting something so ridiculous Mr. Lindblad you should get your facts straight! http://www.scientologytoday.org/Common/question/pg26.htm is the link to find out or read Clear Body Clear Mind.

What a total load of c**p! if you purged yourself of toxins in a healthy way, ie. drinking lots of water, avoiding saturated fats, addtives and chemicals, and eating fruit and veg, you would feel very energetic, not washed out and exhausted. If you are exhausted you are doing something wrong and overdoing it.
