Katie Holmes Is “Devastated” by Tom Cruise’s W Spread

The latest issue of W Magazine brings a very naughty spread with Tom Cruise as aging rocker Stacee Jaxx from “Rock of Ages,” with ladies literally throwing themselves at him. The idea has upset Tom's real-life wife Katie Holmes to the extreme.

According to the latest print issue of The National Enquirer (story via CB), Katie had no idea that Tom would be taking part in such a shoot.

Had she known, she would have probably tried to get him to say no because she finds it incredibly distasteful and offensive. She's hurt he agreed to it.

In fact, sources close to her dish for the tab, Katie isn't hurt because she hasn't seen the spread yet, but she will be so, without a doubt.

“The 49-year-old actor’s controversial pictorial in the June issue of the fashion magazine W is sure to provoke a bitter battle with his 33-year-old wife,” the tab writes.

“It will make no difference to Katie that the photos are a promotion for Tom’s upcoming film Rock of Ages, say sources. The pictures are ultra-steamy, the models are ultra-hot, and she’s been stuck alone in New York caring for daughter Suri as Tom films movie after movie,” adds the report.

As if posing for such pictures wasn't offense enough, Katie also believes that Tom “shamed her” in the fashion industry because W is “a fashion bible.”

For those who don't know, she's a budding fashion designer but, so far, her creations have not been welcomed with too much praise.

“Katie will be devastated by the erotic and explicit nature of the pictures. And how can she not be terrified Suri will eventually see them? It’s certain to spark a shocking blowup between them!” a source is quoted as saying.

Making matters worse is the fact that one of the models who got down and dirty with Tom for the spread, Abbey Lee, is very much in love with him – and, as such, she's pulling strings to work with him again.

“Word has gotten around the modeling industry that Abbey thought the shoot with Tom was one of the hottest she’s ever done because she said that she couldn’t get over Tom’s ripped chest,” a source tells the tab.
