14 DAY TRIAL // During her marriage to Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes let him call all the shots regarding her career, because he’d promised her he’d take her to the top. Word has it this is why she refused to appear in Chris Nolan’s second “Batman” film and a much-anticipated “Dawson’s Creek” reunion.
Well, now that he’s out of the picture and she’s in charge again, Katie has said yes to a proposal for the latter, according to insiders speaking to Radar Online. Clearly, Tom didn’t do much by means of making her a household name, so perhaps a reunion would earn her some much needed press.
It would also help her make amends with longtime frenemy Michelle Williams, with whom she never saw eye to eye on the set of the popular series.
“She wants to make amends with Michelle. Even though it’s arguable that Michelle was the main aggressor on the Dawson's Creek set. Katie’s over all that now and she’s much more confident and stronger as a person and will let bygones be bygones,” says a spy, as cited by the Daily Mail.
Whether the two will really shake hands and mend broken bridges is to be determined, but one thing is clear: fans will definitely love love love! a “Dawson’s Creek” reunion. So here’s hoping for that part of the report to be true.
