Katie Holmes Adores Scientology God Tom Cruise

Katie Holmes is really riding the celebrity wave at the moment - and how could she not be, since she's married to one of Hollywood's most controversial figures, actor and Scientologist Tom Cruise. Giver her husband's sometimes strange antics (such as the memorable couch jumping scene that took place during Oprah's live talk show), many of us with an interest in the celebrity world often find ourselves speculating about Katie's life as the wife of one of Hollywood's richest and darkest (of late) figure. In this context, an interview with Holmes is seen as a rare opportunity to see the young actress' take on her married life and (maybe) dispel some of the myths while building other ones.

The fact is, we have all noticed Katie's transformation of late, that seems to have turned her from a spirited, energetic young woman into a lady that seems wise beyond her years and is doing her best to "channel old Hollywood glamor" as one magazine put it. But what does all that really mean? Well, here are some highlights from a recent interview with Katie, and you can pretty much make up your own minds. When asked about the things that make her angry, she takes a lot of time to explain that she's really a laid-back person that hates being stuck in traffic and people being late. "I do have a lot of patience but I have trouble when I'm driving in traffic. And I don't have a lot of patience with lateness and stuff like that, but for the most part I can go with the flow. I threw a lot of tantrums when I was little and secretly I'd like to throw a tantrum sometimes. That would be empowering, but I have a little girl who likes to do that, too", she says. Well, I think Tom would be very proud of her if that's the case.

For the rest of the interview, Katie goes on to describe the amazing life that she's been living since she met Cruise. "We just went on this great date together, and it's been wonderful ever since", she says, when asked to describe how she met the pint-sized actor. "He's the most amazing man in the world. I'm so happy. I love him. I feel like he's made my life", she adds. "He's just amazing. He's kind, generous, smart, he's Tom Cruise - he's the most artistic man I've ever met. He makes me laugh like I've never laughed. He's made me feel joy like I never have before. There are so many things. He's the most wonderful human being I know", Holmes says. She also claims becoming a mother has completely changed her life. "My life feels so more enriched since becoming a mum. I was so into myself before I had children because I had no one else to be into. I just had to take care of me. How can you not be? It is different becoming a mother, it's all about Suri now", she says. It's all about Suri AND Tom, it would seem. Nothing wrong with that, right?
