Comedienne has confirmed the news, won’t say what’s next for her

Kathy Griffin and Bravo are going their separate ways after just 2 seasons of “Kathy” together. The show has been canceled, E! News has learned.

Kathy herself confirmed the news during a stand-up routine in Cincinnati, when she told audiences that she’d just learned that Bravo was about to pull the plug.

On Twitter, she told this much to gossip blogger Perez Hilton, who asked her about the cancelation: “Sad but tru. Appreciate your kind words, PH.”

For those fans too upset at the thought they won’t be seeing Kathy for a while to function properly, fret not: chances are she already has something up her sleeve.

“Reports have swirled that Griffin and Anderson Cooper have an hour-long show in the works for CNN, but neither have confirmed that news just yet,” E! writes.

But, you know what they say: there’s never smoke without a fire.
