Comedienne tells David Letterman she did nothing wrong, contrary to what some may say

When the ball dropped, it found Kathy Griffin co-hosting the New Year’s Eve party for CNN with Anderson Cooper, as she has been doing for the past several years now. This time, though, she managed to offend more, as I also informed you the other day.

Despite the uproar she caused, she has zero intention of apologizing, she told David Letterman, as the video below can confirm.

In her defense, while the Parents Television Council may rage that her behavior was not suitable for television because kids might have been watching, the bottom line is that it’s perhaps one of the reasons she’s asked back year after year.

She’s unapologetic because she’s doing exactly what she’s paid to do.

Even Anderson Cooper, who, by all means, should have been the most offended by her rude gesture, knew what to expect, telling viewers at home before the show, “As always, I await New Year’s Eve with Kathy Griffin with grave reservations and tremendous fear, and I want to apologize in advance to anyone she may offend/assault/attempt to kiss.”
