Stand-up comedian Kathy Griffin is getting divorced from her husband, Matt Moline, after four and a half years of marriage.
Griffin, 44, filed the divorce papers at Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday, citing irreconcilable differences.
The former 'Suddenly Susan' co-star was married Matt Moline in February 2001, with Brooke Shields as her maid of honor, 'ET' said.
Griffin's career took off in the early 1990s amongst counterparts like Janeane Garofalo and David Cross. She is also an actress, voice actor, a frequent commentator on E! and a self-proclaimed D-list celebrity.
In the late '90s she became a household name playing the quirky best friend of the title character on the long running American sitcom Suddenly Susan. Griffin voiced the character of Alice in the animated television series Dilbert.
In 2003 she was the grand prizewinner on Celebrity Mole, and she continues to tour with her stand-up routine. In 2005, she returned to television in a reality show on the cable network Bravo based on her everyday adventures, titled "Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List."
Her most notable controversy occurred when she made a joke during an "E!" televised event that eleven-year-old actress Dakota Fanning was just out of rehab.
