Katherine Jackson speaks in Michael’s defense: he was no molester, that’s the biggest lie ever told

As the involuntary manslaughter trial against Dr. Conrad Murray continues, Michael Jackson’s mother, Katherine Jackson, is speaking out on what it’s like to see in court the man she holds responsible for her son’s death, as well as on certain things she’d like to set the record straight on.

Katherine did an interview with Matt Lauer on Today, speaking on the topic of Murray’s trial, the kind of punishment she’d like to see him get and, last but not least, what she’d like to say to those accusing Michael of being a molester.

As the video below will confirm, Katherine told Lauer that it was terribly hard for her to see Murray in court, “to see him lie” and ditch all responsibility he had in the death of the King of Pop, who, by all means, passed away under his care.

When that happens, there’s barely any difference between that and killing a man with your own hand, Katherine said.

Therefore, she believes Murray should get more than just a maximum of 4 years in jail for involuntary manslaughter. As far as she’s concerned, Murray might as well have killed Michael himself.

Asked which of the lies circulated about Michael in the media she’d like to correct, Katherine didn’t hesitate in saying that her son was never the monster his accusers and the media made him out to be.

“As far as Michael being a child molester... that’s the biggest lie ever been told,” Katherine stated.

The decision to settle with his first accuser did not come from Michael, it was something his lawyers had suggested to him so that he kept going with his tour – even though he didn’t want to pay the accuser off.

“His lawyers told him he should just pay the money... they thought that just paying the money and shut the people up would be the right thing to do,” Michael’s mom told Lauer.

She said she asked the singer why he’d agreed to a payoff when it could only make him appear guilty in the eyes of many, and Michael told her he had little choice in the matter.

“I didn’t want to do it either mother, I wanted to fight it because I knew it wasn’t the truth,” Katherine said Michael told her at the time.
