At one point, not too many years ago, Katherine Heigl was one of the highest paid actresses in Hollywood, commanding up to $15 million (€10.9 million) for a single movie. Those days are definitely gone, because she’s now turning to fans for help.

The video above is a promo for the campaign, which is supposed to help producers of “Jenny’s Wedding,” Heigl’s latest movie, raise $150,000 (€109,146) by March 28 through fan donations, so that post-production work on it can be completed.

“So we've teamed up with Indiegogo, because we're trying to raise money to finish the film, and we could really use your help,” Heigl says in the promo, promising fans that, “we have lots of really fun exciting perks.”

Said perks are believed to include autographed photos of the stars in the film and an Official Wedding Album for the movie. Depending on each donation, fans qualify for one such goodie, or might get something of lesser value.

For a bit of context, I should note that, after “Grey’s Anatomy” and the aforementioned boost in Heigl’s acting career, which made of her an A-list, she experienced a huge drop in popularity, to the point where, last year, The Hollywood Reporter called her one of the most annoying and taxing actresses to work with.
