Katharine Finally Realized that Boobs, Not Scientology, Will Help Her Score

You can't say Katharine McPhee is not famous: she is very popular and appreciated for both her music and her looks. Also, you can't say that being beaten by gray-haired Taylor Hicks in the last season of 'American Idol' didn't get her down. In fact, she had reached such a low point in her personal life that she even considered going into Scientology to get a man.

For those who don't know (the two or three people out there), Scientology is a cult, founded by a sci-fi writer in the '50s, whose secrets are well kept, and which believes in aliens and UFOs and whose most fervent supporter is actor Tom Cruise. Well, he may be more than a 'supporter', especially as he is a close friend with the spiritual leader of the group, 'reverend' David Miscavige, and as he is seen as the incarnation of the Scientology Jesus.

'Tom has been told he is Scientology's Christ-like figure. Like Christ, he's been criticized for his views. But future generations will realize he was right', one spy told the media a couple of days ago. He also stated that Tom's mission on earth is to convert as many (wealthy) people as possible and, by God, he is doing his best in that area!

Among the stars targeted by that little man with very high ambitions are Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony, and David and Victoria Beckham. He also went for 'American Idol' runner-up and successful artist Katharine McPhee, who flirted with the religion for a while.

In a recent interview with 'Salon', the 22-year-old beauty opened up about her connection to the cult and insisted once again that she is not one of its followers. However, some dude did get her to want to join them! 'I took a couple of courses. It was really all about a guy. It was a guy that I was totally obsessed with - not obsessed with but totally into and, you know, guys and girls can do that to our lives and make us think we're into something that we're not.', the singer explained.

Eventually, she realized that, in life, she has to use her boobs to attract guys' attention (like all normal women) and not join some weird cult everyone is laughing at. The end.
