Even if some of the things she says don't sit well with some, at least Kate Winslet deserves credit for being honest. In a recent interview to promote “Titanic 3D,” the actress had a very funny way of describing her relationship with Leonardo DiCaprio.

The two first worked together on the set of the blockbuster and have remained very close friends ever since.

However, things aren't as they were so many years ago, Kate mused during a recent interview cited by E! Online.

Asked how their relationship has evolved, the outspoken actress said that, contrary to what some people might think, Leo hasn't changed that much – not because of fame, at least.

“We do look very different, we’re older,” she said.

“Leo’s 37, I’m 36 – we were 21 and 22 when we made that film. You know, he’s fatter now – I’m thinner. It’s true though!” Kate added, quickly saying she knew for a fact Leo wouldn't hold it against her if she spoke the truth.

During the recent promo tour for the film – from which DiCaprio has been notable absent throughout – Kate has said other things that got people talking.

One of them was in relation to Celine Dion's iconic “Titanic” theme song “My Heart Will Go On,” with Kate saying that the mere mention of the track made her want to throw up, as we also reported over the weekend.

Nevertheless, in that instance too she meant no offense, adding that she liked the song but did not like how people reacted to it, always acting around her as if she had sung it or, even worse, come up with the idea for it.

In her defense, the moment Kate said that the song made her “throw up,” she knew she was putting herself out there in the crossfire and that people would rip her apart for her comment, which is precisely what happened.
