Kate Winslet will join Cameron Diaz in the upcoming Nancy Meyers-helmed romantic comedy, a follow-up to the hit "Something's Gotta Give."
Winslet and Columbia are said to have had some scheduling conflicts, but apparently they have been solved, the studio said.
The Columbia Pictures project, which is written and produced by Meyers, centers on an American woman (Diaz) with man troubles, who crosses paths with a British villager (Winslet) with similar problems. After their meeting, the American woman finds her luck starting to change.
Shooting begins early next year in Europe and the U.S.
Meanwhile, Kate works on Todd Field's "Little Children" for New Line Cinema and lends her voice to DreamWorks' 2006 animated comedy "Flushed Away."
The four-times Oscar-nominated actress also appeared as a guest star on HBO's "Extras."
Cameron Diaz will next star in the comedy "In Her Shoes," due to release on October 7.
