The newborn baby boy of actress Kate Winslet just got a first name to go with his last. A source close to the “Titanic” actress disclosed the name she chose for her third child and it's not among the top 100 most popular baby names.

The source quoted by Daily Mail says, “They are doing well, they both absolutely adore him - and the name Bear.” While it does have a sort of rugged sound to it, it has to be said that Kate is not lending her newborn baby his father's last name.

Kate has conceived the child with her current husband, Ned Rocknroll, a nephew of the famous Richard Branson of the Virgin Empire, who works in the space-travel branch of the company. Before you go thinking of combinations of “Rocknroll Bear” that sound funny, you should know that Kate decided to give baby Bear her own family name, as she thinks “it's flashy.”

Baby Bear is the third child of Kate Winslet, joining sister Mia Honey, 13, and brother Joe Alfie, 9, but her first with Mr. Rocknroll. As you can see, Kate seems to have an affinity for out of the ordinary names, a fact that is not lost on her husband. He changed his name from Ned Abel Smith to Ned Rockroll by deed poll.

Though a proud new mom, Winslet has been under fire from father's rights groups for having 3 children with 3 different men, thus branding her as “3x3.” She vehemently denied the rumors of putting her career before her children and is even thinking of suing “Fathers4Justice” after the group targeted her in a planned media campaign over her children's living arrangements.

The organization ran a picture of Kate as a Christmas advertisement which read “Kate, every child deserves a father this Christmas.” Kate's lawyers are saying that the ad is misleading and seriously defamatory.
