Kate Upton may be one of the hottest models around, but she’s no match for a package that includes Mariah Carey’s huge fanbase and samples of her music. She’s being replaced as the face (and curvaceous figure) of the mobile game Game of War, TMZ reports.

You can see Kate’s original ad in the video below. If you know of Kate, you probably know that she’s very famous for 2 things: her sweet, girl-next-door face and her ample curves, which helped her get started in the industry and stand out among her fellow, rail-thin models.

One might even argue that replacing Kate with Mariah isn’t exactly a wise choice, since the former appeals to a much younger demographic and is deemed the “hotter” of the two. One might even be right, but TMZ says the Mariah deal comes with bonuses Kate could never top.

And the producers are willing to pay big bucks for it - Mariah is getting a 7-figure check in exchange, the report says. For this money, she will shoot commercials for the game and take part in promo events, but the focus will be on the videos.

The first one is said to be directed by Alan Taylor (“Thor” and “Terminator: Genisys”), with production scheduled to start very soon and last for 2 days. It will also include samples of Mariah’s music, which is one of those big bonuses mentioned above.

The other one is that Mariah has a fanbase Kate can only dream of as of this moment, made up of very loyal and very generous fans who wouldn’t bat an eyelid before spending on something their idol promotes.
