14 DAY TRIAL // Kate Upton and Diddy would make a fabulous couple but, for those of you believing the recent report that they’re an item, disappointment lurks ahead: both the model and the music mogul have used their Twitter to deny talk of a romance.
Even more, they insist they don’t even know each other.
Word broke yesterday that Kate, inarguably one of the hottest and most in demand models of the moment, and Diddy had been spotted out to dinner, acting very couple-y.
In other words, they were making out like teenagers, not really caring who saw them.
The same report claimed they also hooked up later, in New York, even spending the night together.
Kate, who often uses her Twitter to squash whatever false rumors are spread about her at one moment or another, was the first to break her silence on the highly mediated new romance.
“Really??? Not at all true..” she responded to a tweet saying, “@KateUpton and @IamDiddy seen sucking face and dining out!”
It didn’t take Diddy long after that to tweet his own denial.
“Attention all Media. I don't even know Kate Upton personally! I'm not dating her! What's being reported is not true. END of story!” he wrote.
His next tweet was an obvious attempt to milk the media attention to plug one of his projects, a mixtape.
“ATTENTION MEDIA! YOU KNOW WHAT IS TRUE THOUGH? @CassieSuper NEW MIXTAPE #ROCKABYEBABY COMES OUT TOMORROW ON http://DATPIFF.COM BANG BANG,” he wrote.
As far as the media knows, Kate has been single since Valentine’s Day this year, when she and Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander broke up.
Last we heard, Diddy was dating his protégée Cassie, though they never went official with the romance. Word has it things have cooled off considerably between them in recent weeks.
