Kate Moss - the Fashion Designer

She had problems with men, problems with drugs, problems with contracts... now it looks like Kate Moss is back in the biz. Yes, the fashion business. Not as a model but as a designer.

She was (some say still is) queen of the catwalk, why wouldn't she be a successful designer? She's got her own brand (her name, known world-wide).

Recently Kate Moss said about her future plans: "I'm going to take everyone on and I'm going to shock everyone. I know what works, I know what women want, and I know there is money to be made. My name is my brand and it's going to be the biggest thing in fashion."

A close friend of the former top model told Grazia magazine: "No contracts have been signed yet, so there is no launch date - although she is looking at getting something underway by next year. But everyone around her is being really positive about the whole thing. They think it will just grow and grow."

Kate has also thought of a suitable yet catchy name for her future fashion line and, why not, financial empire. The options were all considered and it is most likely for her fashion enterprise to be named "Kate," "Mossy," or "Lila Loves" (as a gift for her three-year-old daughter Lila).

Her friend added: "She is clear about the direction she wants it to take - she loves Stella's McCartney's clothes and would like to do something similar. Kate will be overseeing the whole design and, presumably, ensuring the clothes have enough of the 'Kate sparkle' that has made her a style icon."

A spokeswoman for Moss confirmed the gossip yet added that Kate Moss is not willing to give up modeling just now, for she has no plans of retiring from the catwalk for "three or four" years.
