Beautiful supermodel Kate Moss is paying for her boyfriend, Pete Doherty, to get a $30,000 anti-heroin implant, as a parting gift. One week ago, Kate dumped Pete, arguing she cannot stand his way of life anymore, always worrying about him.
But it appears that Moss still cares about him, because she bought Pete a powerful new implant of naltrexone, which will stop heroin having an effect for a year.
A pal told the paper: "He is determined to get clean again and Kate is supporting him. They are no longer lovers but she cares for him and wants him to get out of this mess.
"She has offered to pay for the implant."
Pete Doherty, born March 12, 1979 in Hexham, Northumberland, UK, is co-frontman and songwriter with Carl Barat, of British punk and garage rock revivalists The Libertines. He is currently the frontman for the band Babyshambles.
Since 2003, Doherty has become known to the public at large as a result of his addiction to drugs and his recent relationship with model Kate Moss.
