If you’re somebody as famous as Kate Moss, you can expect to receive some of the weirdest presents on your wedding day. Kate, for instance, was surprised with a pair of Margaux platforms by Terry de Havilland, with the F-word in Swarovski crystals on their soles.

Friends of the model knew very well that she was a fan of Havilland’s shoes, but, for her big wedding day, they wanted to do something different by having a red pair of platforms customized.

At such an eccentric wedding party as Moss and Jamie Hince threw last weekend, there were equally outrageous gifts, including the aforementioned pair of platforms, the Daily Mail writes.

“One carried the phrase ‘[Expletive] me’ spelled out in Swarovski crystals, while the other was emblazoned with ‘[Expletive] you’,” the British tab writes citing sources close to the model.

“The customized Seventies-style Margaux platforms, from celebrity shoe-maker Terry de Havilland, are said to have delighted the 37-year-old bride when she was presented with them at the three-day reception held in her £2million Cotswolds farmhouse,” the tab further says.

Moreover, the shoes were to Moss’ (outrageous) taste: towering high and in red snakeskin. Add to that the cheeky messages on their soles, and there’s really no way she couldn’t have liked them, one spy claims.

“The shoes were commissioned by Kate’s friends as a surprise. They knew she was a great fan of Terry’s shoes but they wanted to give her something different for her wedding,” the insider reveals.

In the end, the friends did not even have to pay for the present because the celebrity designer agreed to have them done free of charge.

“Terry has known Kate for years and when he found out that’s who the commission was for, he made the shoes free of charge as his own gift to Kate and Jamie,” the spy explains.

“He thought they would be ideal for her to wear on her honeymoon and the message would be a secret only she and Jamie knew about,” the same unnamed friend dishes.

After last weekend’s beautiful wedding ceremony, Kate and Jamie left for their honeymoon, off the coast of Corsica, on the private yacht of good friend Sir Philip Green, the owner of Topshop.
