She’s undoubtedly one of the most famous faces in the industry of modeling, with a career that continues to flourish despite being past what some might call her “by-date.” At 36, Kate Moss is a model for many a renowned brand, a designer of her own and a beauty icon that can still move many copies of fashion mags. In the latest issue of Harper’s Bazaar, she talks a little about all this.

Amidst reports that she’s engaged to be married and is perhaps considering retiring from modeling altogether to see to her fashion line, a rumor that has been around for several years now, Kate talks to Bazaar about what it’s like to work again with the photographers she first got to meet when she was a young girl. There are few photographers who actually do this and love it, Moss explains, and she’s been lucky enough to work with them all.

“It was with Peter [Lindbergh], and it was so much fun,” Kate says of the shoot for the current spread. “He was absolutely hilarious. Peter is old-school. There aren’t many around like him anymore who really know how to take pictures. There’s him and Patrick [Demarchelier]. He really knows, and he makes it look so easy. I’ve known him since I was 18 and worked with him for Bazaar. He’s into older women, and as I get older, it gets better. He’s not into little girls. Now that I’m older, we really talk and hang out. It’s great to catch up, to grow up and be able to talk to people who used to see you as a little kid,” the model adds.

She’s happy with having had the chance to work with these two photographers, she says, hinting that she has no intention of retiring yet. “I’m not really a fashion designer,” she mentions when the topic of her fashion lines, which have been well received by critics, comes up. “I just love clothes. I’ve never been to design school. I can’t sketch. I can’t cut patterns and things. I can shorten things. I can make a dress out of a scarf,” Moss explains.

She’s a model, she seems to say, and will always remain that. As such, the latest issue comes with a spread that is nothing short of glamorous, with some shots showing Kate Moss alone, striking typically broken-doll poses. In another, for instance, she’s sitting on a bed, facing the camera, while two men can be seen in the background, lying down and apparently bored out of their mind.
