Pete and Kate's re-kindled relationship seems to have moved on light years ahead over the weekend. On Friday, the two went out on their first official date since they broke up after the cocaine scandal and today rumor has it that they plan to marry in less than a week.

Apparently, Moss has been spotted wearing a huge diamond ring, about which she told her friends it was an engagement gift from Doherty. Friends close to the supermodel claim that, even while dating other men, her heart was set on the Babyshambles frontman from the very beginning, without whom she couldn't possibly imagine herself living.

Newspapers all over the UK are informing that the couple has rented a nightclub in Ibiza, Spain, where they are thinking of exchanging vows come next weekend. But this can't be pleasing news for Kate's mother, who had an ugly fight with her because of getting back with the self-confessed drug addict.

'When Kate said she was going to give the relationship with Pete another try, she and her mum Linda had a furious row. Linda thinks Pete has only been a disaster for Kate. She tried to tell her not to be stupid. But Kate's response was that she loves Pete and knows she can't be happy without him', an insider is quoted as saying in one of the British newspapers.

Doherty is currently undergoing treatment for his drug addiction, while Kate's career has received a recent boost, earning in 2006 almost a triple sum than last year from modeling gigs. But Pete, despite his implant, might be back to his old ways again as, on their first date, he barged in the ladies' room in a club and 'puked his heart out'. It is said that the implant he had fitted in his stomach causes his organism to react like this every time he uses drugs.

Meanwhile, PRs for the model claim that the two are seeing each other only as friends and that there is nothing more going on between them. If only there weren't so many photographs showing them smooching in public...
