Kate Moss is sure losing her touch. I mean, really. Not that it's such a huge shock as such, but I would have thought that it would all happen in a more discrete way. You know, gradually. First of all she'd pretend to give up all her modeling contracts, her endorsement deals and the likes. Then she'd come out and state that she intends to retire to the countryside for a while to 'think her life through' and write her (best selling, of course) autobiography - and then she'd forget to come back. And in about twenty years' time, we'd be seeing Kate either marry a guy 20 years younger than her and re-start her career, or end up a successful talk show host.
But no, it seems that for Kate life really is a roller coaster, and it's all or nothing. The (latest) proof comes to support my idea that it really is time for Kate to keep a low(er) profile, and perhaps writing the outline for that autobiography - "Life as a Famous Crack-Head". No, that's just my own humble suggestion. The story goes like this: Kate is currently in New York, with her boyfriend Jamie Hince (yes, she's actually still with him and not back with Pete Doherty - what joy!) and she was approached by a fan who first seemed happy to see her but was reportedly very annoyed when she snubbed him and turned to insult to make his feelings known.
And there's no better insult than the truth - or so my granny says. So the guy watched as Kate entered her apartment building and then shouted "Hooker! Whore!" Ouch! I'm not sure Kate heard him, but anyway, it still hurts to have the truth shoved so brutally in your face. No, don't get me wrong - I don't think Kate is one of those cheap-a*s ladies who plead sexual favors in exchange for cash. No, I just think she's a media whore first of all, and the representative of a generation who put cocaine chic back on the market and glamorized drugs a lot more than Amy Wino is doing it at present. So, let me just call this "crazed fan" the lone voice of truth - and hope Kate learns her lesson - soon.
