The report comes from Germaine Greer, feminist writer

A shocking new theory has emerged online as the Duchess of Cambridge is getting ready to give birth for a second time, after a long campaign of speculations about whether or not she was pregnant. It seems that at least one person thinks that Middleton was forced into having a baby by the royal family.

That person happens to be outspoken feminist Germaine Greer, who, in a piece for Newsweek called “Why Women Don't Want to Be Kate,” pointed out how Kate was actually in no state to be giving birth for a second time.

Kate is way too thin and suffering from extreme morning sickness to have a second baby

Greer claims that Kate is far too thin at the moment to be carrying a baby, and the fact that that she also happens to be suffering from a medical condition known as Hyperemesis gravidarium, or extreme morning sickness, that's known to affect only 2% of pregnant women, she should have waited for a long time before getting pregnant again.

The only reason why Kate is with child again, a year after giving birth to Prince George, Greer thinks, is because the royals are pressuring her to produce a “spare” now that she's given them an “heir.”

The author of the piece is scathing in her report, “The girl is too thin. Meanwhile, she is vomiting her guts up and shouldn’t have been made to go through all this again so soon. It’s not so much that she has to be a womb, but she has to be a mother. I would hope after this one she says, ‘That’s it. No more.’”

Meanwhile, Kate has been talking to the press and claimed that she's always wanted a big family, and for her, the ideal number of children is three, mirroring her own family, where she grew up alongside a brother and a sister.

Buckingham Palace is to blame for Kate's torment

It's difficult to get to the bottom of things when the British crown maintains an opaque veil over its affairs, but Greer is determined to get her point across. She blasts Buckingham Palace for its demeaning policies towards women.

“Kate is not even allowed to decorate her own houses. Even the wives of the American presidents get to do that. The whole thing is a mad anachronism. Kate is not allowed to have an interest in modern culture, even in art – to collect, to attend openings. She is made to appear absolutely anodyne. She cannot do or say anything spontaneous. She has learned what she has to do and say and how to do and say it in the approved way. Spontaneity will get her in trouble,” the author infuriately adds.

And while this debate goes on, Kate is now rumored to be expecting twin girls for her second pregnancy.
