The Duchess is said to be “struggling terribly”

By all estimates, Kate Middleton should be about ten or twelve weeks pregnant and extreme morning sickness has taken her out of action for a long time now. Over the weekend, it was announced that Kate was going to resume her official duties.

The Daily Mail is now saying that Kate is still struggling with her sickness that has caused her severe vomiting, so she decided to go to her parents' house in Bucklebury, Berkshire, together with her son, Prince George.

Mother Carole Middleton is said to be in charge of her recovery process, and she has been researching alternative sickness cures, mostly herbal teas and other methods from the internet. She is also helping Kate by taking care of George when the Duchess is otherwise indisposed.

Kate moves in with her parents because she feels more comfortable there and is away from the public eye

The reason for this move is because Kate claims to feel more relaxed at the Middleton's family mansion than she does at Kensington Palace.

One insider confirmed that “Kate is feeling so lousy that she just wanted to be with her family and out of public view. She is extremely close to Carole, who is very much a hands-on grandmother. Between her and their nanny, Maria, Kate has all the help she needs with George while she is feeling so sick.”

Because of her morning sickness bouts and vomiting, Kate has been diagnosed with dehydration during her pregnancy with George as well, but this time around, doctors are said to have been better prepared and it's said that Kate has even been provided with a drip in her home.

The media is somewhat worried about the Duchess' well-being, since during her latest outings, she was spotted looking pin thin, despite the fact that she is said to be carrying twins.

Extreme morning sickness can cause severe dehydration as the patient can vomit up to 30 times per day

A specialist with the Pregnancy Sickness Support revealed that extreme morning sickness is much more dangerous than regular morning sickness since it can cause the sufferer to vomit up to 30 times per day.

Earlier last week, the Palace had announced that the Duchess was feeling better and that she would be resuming her official duties. On October 21, she is expected to join Prince William in welcoming the President of Singapore, but now it seems that her participation is still questionable.

“Her attendance will be reviewed closer to the time, depending on her health,” said one palace insider.
