Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton has made her first official public appearance since the announcement that she was pregnant with her and Prince William’s first child. Video of it is above.
Since
the December 3 announcement, the Duchess has been keeping a very low profile, mostly because of the aggravated form of
morning sickness she’s suffering from.
She made an exception at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Awards 2012, where she came onstage to hand an award, but also hung out with guests and posed for pictures.
The Duchess looked more stunning than ever in a dark green dress, with her baby bump barely visible in it.
She smiled and was her gracious self, most certainly aware that her slim figure would be scrutinized by millions of pairs of eyes from all over the world.
Kate was welcomed with a standing ovation.
