Kate Middleton’s weight is making headlines again. After a while of tabloid reporting that she’s already seen nutritionists in a bid to gain weight because she wants to get pregnant, the latest on the Duchess of Cambridge has it that she’s stopped eating as a sign of protest – against everyone and everything. says Kate is living under a lot of stress and pressure. Since marrying Prince William, she’s learned that she has little to no control over most aspects of her life, so she’s taken control over the one thing that is still hers: her body.
“She dropped two dress sizes before the wedding and loved how it made her feel. She’s showing no signs of slowing down now, and the weight is just falling off of her,” an insider who claims to be well familiar with the situation says.
Kate is now spending her days working out and counting calories, when she’s not fending off worried friends and family by lying to them about what and, most importantly, how much she eats.
“The Duchess of Cambridge, 29, has found the one thing she can totally control: her body. It’s a form of rebellion against the queen and other forces trying to take charge of her life,” says the spy. She’s losing weight
by the day and people around her are already worried sick. One expert (who doesn’t know Kate) contacted by the celebrity mag estimates she’s lost another 5 pounds since the US tour last month.
Not only does she count calories, but she’s also cutting out foods that she once loved, like pizza, French bread and Haribo candy.
“Friends are always trying to get Kate to eat something when they see her, but she just ignores them and refuses. She changes the conversation and makes an excuse like she’s eaten already or that she’s not hungry,” says the spy.
Her sister Pippa has been calling her up to five times a day to check up on her. Husband Prince William is just as mortified that she might make herself sick with this obsession to always be thin.
“William is concerned. He doesn’t want to see Kate get sick,” the source says.
