This is not the first time Kate Middleton's name has been connected with a new pregnancy. The fact that that tabloids keep speculating whether or not the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting means that there is still a lot of interest in the British royal family.

Today, there is a new rumor going on, that Kate Middleton is not only pregnant, but she already knows what she's having this time around, and it's a girl apparently, a future princess. A report from Life & Style Magazine claims to have gotten the news from friends of the royal couple, who heard it from them first hand.

If you remember, back at the beginning of July, Kate's childhood friend Jessica Hay confirmed that Kate had gotten pregnant for the second time, and now there is new evidence to support the theory according to which, young Prince George, who's just turned 1, is going to have a sister.

“She feels different this time around, and is convinced they’re having a girl,” one of the friends of the royal couple has told the magazine. The same source reveals that both Kate and William are very excited about having a girl, but the mother in particular is stoked because of her close relationship with her own sister, Pippa.

But more importantly, there is a more pressing question on everyone's mind now that there is a well-established rumor that the royal couple is having a girl. That question centers on whether the girl will receive Prince William's mother's name, Diana.

Marie Sutton, a close friend of the late Diana, had a chat with the magazine, and, in her opinion, there is only one name for the future princess, “If it’s a girl, the name would have to be Diana, wouldn’t it?” Many consider that this would be a touching tribute to the late mother of the Prince, who died tragically in a car crash in August 1997, while in Paris.

The royal house doesn't seem to be bothered by all the rumors and gossip that have gotten more and more frantic over the past month, as it has been busy setting up the birthday celebrations for young Prince George.

The party was organized by the Prince's grandmother, Carole Middleton, Kate's mother, and it was hosted at Kensington Palace. Reports from the party indicated that the guests were served finger food, oodles and fresh fruit, as well as organic ice cream and fresh fruit sorbets.

The young prince was said to have had a birthday cake that had a Peter Rabbit theme to it.
