On June 13, Duchess Kate Middleton, whose due date is just one month away, christened a new cruise ship. She named it the Royal Princess.

The ceremony took place in Southampton, England. Word has it that this was the Duchess' last solo engagement before her maternity leave.

“I name this ship Royal Princess. May God bless her and all who sail in her,” Kate Middleton said when christening the ship.

Just as Princes Diana did back in 1984, she then cut the rope holding the champagne bottle in place. The bottle smashed against the ship and the naming ceremony was done with.

People present at the ceremony could not help but notice that the Duchess looked absolutely radiant, and that the baby bump was in full bloom.
