The 26-year old daughter of Goldie Hawn and Bill Hudson is a well-known actress now, especially after all the gossips on her relationship with Chris Robinson.

After "The Skeleton Key", Kate Hudson will be joining the team of a comedy.

The actress will star alongside Owen Wilson in the Universal Pictures project "You, Me and Dupree", according to Production Weekly.

The movie based on the script of Mike LeSieur is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo ("Arrested Development"). Shooting is about to start at the end of the summer.

"Zoolander" star Owen Wilson plays the part of best man Randy Dupree who's been living as a houseguest with newlyweds Carl and Molly Petersen, ultimately wearing out his welcome.

Until than, movie fans can see Hudson in the contemporary supernatural thriller "The Skeleton Key", while Owen Wilson will attend today the premiere of his recent movie "Wedding Crashers".

Based on a script written by Ehren Kruger ("The Ring"), "The Skeleton Key", which is set for release on August 12, is directed by Iain Softley ("K-Pax").

Hudson portrays Caroline, a live-in nurse hired to take care of an elderly woman's (ailing husband in their decrepit mansion situated in the Louisiana delta. She decides to explore the old mansion armed with a skeleton key that unlocks every door. Eventually, Caroline discovers a hidden attic room that holds a deadly and terrifying secret.
