The beautiful daughter of Goldie Hawn admits that being a public person means being constantly followed and photographed by the paparazzi, but she is adamant when it comes to her son being given the same treatment from the press.

Hudson is married to the Black Crowes front man, Chris Robinson, and together they have a two-year-old son, Ryder Russel.

Recently, the child has been the object of a lot of media attention, mainly because his mother likes to dress him up and braid his hair as if he were a little girl.

Mad at the photographers for the great interest they show in Ryder, Kate went public and asked them to back off. The actress said: 'The only thing that bugs me is my son. When people are taking pictures of your kid, he doesn't know what he wants. He is two-and-a-half years old. He doesn't choose that and I think that's unfair. I try not to focus on it too much for his sake because that could be dangerous'.

Hudson had her own share of media attention as a child, as she grew up as the baby girl of one of Hollywood's most famous actresses. Besides, her step dad, actor Kurt Russell, whom she considers her real father, always insisted on not having his picture taken while in the presence of his children. And the paparazzi always did as he bid them to, which is why she now resorts to the same method.
