14 DAY TRIAL // New mommy Kate Hudson is gorgeous as a blonde, but she’s just as beautiful when she rocks darker hair. The actress, already back to work after giving birth to her second child, has recently debuted a new ‘do.
However, fans who love her better as a blonde shouldn’t worry about not seeing their idol as such for a long time to come – Kate hasn’t ditched her trademark locks for good.
She only did it for a movie part, JustJared informs. This also means there’s a slight chance she could be wearing a wig.
“Kate Hudson shows off her darker ‘do on the set of her latest film, The Reluctant Fundamentalist, on Tuesday (October 11) in New York City,” the e-zine writes in a post accompanying several shots of Hudson at work.
“The 32-year-old actress shot scenes with co-star Riz Ahmed and spent time with her son Ryder in between scenes,” the same report further says.
“The Reluctant Fundamentalist, based on Mohsin Hamid’s book of the same name, centers around a young Pakistani man working on Wall Street who finds his approach to life changes after 9/11,” the e-zine informs.
The film also stars Liev Schreiber and Keifer Sutherland but, for the time being, only Kate and Riz have been spotted on location, shooting scenes.
Kate isn’t the only well-known actress to ditch her trademark look for the sake of her art, as we also noted on several other occasions.
Also for a film, Nicole Kidman went a very light shade of blonde, while Ryan Gosling also agreed to have his hair bleached for one of his upcoming films.
Gorgeous Kate Beckinsale, adored by fans as a stunning brunette in a leather catsuit in “Underworld,” also became a blonde for a movie role at the beginning of the year, though, in her case, fans agreed she looked better with darker locks.
