14 DAY TRIAL // No matter what tabloids say about her and her supposed desire to change some things about her body, Hollywood star Kate Hudson says in a recent interview with the Telegraph that she couldn’t be happier about her imperfections. Of course, there are things about her body she’d want to be different, but that’s not to say she’s not confident about her body, she stresses.
Hudson can now be seen in the violent noir drama “The Killer Inside Me,” opposite Jessica Alba. Because of the story presented, some scenes show Kate in more revealing outfits, but she says that did not make her feel embarrassed. Granted, she too has her shortcomings, but she knows them only too well and has learned to live with them. Beauty is the very imperfections many of us hate, the star seems to be saying.
“I’m pretty comfortable with my body. I’m imperfect. The imperfections are there. People are going to see them, but I take the view you only live once,” Kate says. For the part in the drama, which is yet to receive a release date despite having premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, the star also underwent a physical makeover, because her California muscular blonde style did not fit her character. Thus, she stopped working out and let herself go a bit, as the saying goes.
“I’d gained a little weight. I wasn’t working out. [Deliberately?] Yeah, because right before then I had been working out a lot and had become super muscular, which I didn’t like either. It wouldn’t have been right for that part, I wanted to look plainer. Not glamorous. Small town. There is something kind of masochistic about her. She wasn’t easy to empathize with,” Hudson says.
For all her confidence, of which she often speaks publicly, Kate Hudson could not dodge rumors that she too had turned to the plastic surgeon for some help. A little over a month ago, tabloid reports were saying she had gotten implants, upping her cup size just a little bit because her chest was the only part of her body of which she was ashamed, despite publicly claiming the contrary, as we also informed you a while ago.
