Mother of 8 Kate Gosselin once said she could see herself having a career in television or perhaps the movies, voicing cartoons or other animated characters. It looks like she’s one step closer to seeing her dream come true, as reports are pouring in she’s just been selected for the latest season of Dancing With the Stars,

The report does not come from official sources but, as they say, there’s never smoke without a fire, least in showbiz of all places. After attempting to get
several other projects off the ground and
failing in doing so, it would seem Mrs. Gosselin has set her sight on the popular televised dance competition, which she may consider just perfect for a launch pad to restart her career in TV, some say.
“Giving new meaning to the phrase ‘shake it mama,’ mom of [eight] Kate Gosselin is reportedly lacing up her dancing shoes to compete on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars,” the aforementioned media outlet says. Unfortunately, as of now no concrete details have gotten out in the media but, as per reports, Kate is already hard at work getting ready for her big appearance on TV as a dancer.
“Intrepid entertainment reporter and co-host of Los Angeles’ KEARTH 101’s morning show Lisa Stanley reports Kate is practicing her two step at the famed Beverly Wilshire Hotel. Stanley says the reality show star is ‘under a shroud of security,’ boning up on her bossa nova at the posh hotel. Extra will have the complete list of this season’s competitors when the full cast is announced on Monday after ‘The Bachelor’ season finale,” Extra TV further writes.
