Kate Gosselin Sports New, Short ‘Do

At the beginning of this year, reality star and “original OctoMom” as some media outlets call her, Kate Gosselin, made headlines around the world for finally ditching her trademark hairdo for a set of fabulous extensions. Though they cost an estimated $7,000 and took over 20 hours to put in, Kate never really liked them so she just had them taken out, as Radar Online can confirm.

Mrs. Gosselin is now hard at work training for the latest season of Dancing With the Stars and it is believed the change in look came about because of this. Radar’s paparazzi report that the star spent about 7 hours inside a hair salon the other day, emerging with a slick bob with bangs in a softer and more fetching shade of blond.

“As Radar Online exclusively reported, Kate is getting ready for her Dancing With The Stars debut starting from her hair down, changing her extensions and preparing to rock a whole new look. Gosselin stopped by the Ted Gibson salon in Manhattan on Wednesday and debuted a new, sleek, sharp bob with bangs, colored to a gorgeous golden honey blond,” Radar writes of Kate’s makeover.

“Kate’s hair looked sophisticated and stunning. It came at a slight cost though: she was at the hairdresser's for a marathon 7 hours! But don’t get too used to Kate’s new look. As Radar Online exclusively reported, Kate will be getting new extensions put back in on Thursday,” the aforementioned media outlet goes on to explain.

As of now, it’s not known whether Kate chose to have her extensions removed and eventually replaced because she was not happy with the one she got in January and for which People magazine presumably covered the bill. However, it is being said, even if she chooses to go without them and sticks to the bob, she will still be quite stunning.
