Kate Gosselin Is Looking for Love, the Perfect Man

She once said that her ideal man would also have to be Superman to keep up with everything happening in her life. Since then, Kate Gosselin seems to have had a change of heart – and will settle for a human now, as long as he’s smart, determined and preferably good looking.

In a recent interview cited by TooFab, Kate opened up about her ideal man and said that she was willing to start dating again, provided she found the perfect guy for it.

“The 36-year-old reality TV star said she’s looking for a guy who is in his 40s and is ‘smart, wise, driven, determined’,” the e-zine writes, citing the aforementioned interview.

Asked whether she wants her new boyfriend to be “hot” as well, Mrs. Gosselin leaves no room for doubt: good looks are also important, it’s not just the above mentioned traits that matter.

“Yeah, of course. Looks good standing next to me,” she said in the interview.

On the same occasion, Kate revealed that she’s not necessarily looking for a wealthy man to support her and her 8 kids because she doesn’t “mind working,” and that it’s been quite some time since she’s been on a date.

That last part shouldn’t come as a surprise for those who have been watching her TLC reality show “Kate Plus 8”: being a single mom to 8 children can be quite a challenge.

In the same interview, Kate also opened up a bit about her ex husband, Jon Gosselin, saying things calmed down after the messy divorce – and the two are again on good terms.

“He’s actually working now, he has a job, so he has a different focus, which is good… something with roof solar panels, I think,” she explained.

“He’s actually making an effort to, you know, the four days a month that he has the kids, they come home happy. He’s making a better effort to have a better environment to have them visit, which is good,” Kate added.
