14 DAY TRIAL // Reality star Kate Gosselin and Steve Neild, her bodyguard, are as close as ever. The two, rumored to be having an affair for many years now, are still lovers, InTouch Weekly reveals.
Kate is now shooting for the upcoming season of NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice and, in between various business endeavors, posing for the paparazzi and seeing to her own business empire, such as it is today, she’s also been spending a lot of time with Neild.
Neild, by the way, has been married for 20 years and has 2 children, and was hired by TLC back in 2008, when Jon and Kate were the biggest reality stars of the moment. Kate has retained his services even after TLC axed the show.
He’s accompanying Kate on set as her bodyguard but the glossy says there’s definitely a romantic side to their relationship, because, on March 30, when they called his hotel room at the Trump International Hotel, where the entire cast is put up, it was Kate who picked up.
This might be chalked up to a mere coincidence (after all, she could have gone there to discuss business), but her ex-husband, Jon Gosselin, insists that this is all the proof we need that they’re sleeping together – and have done so for a very long time.
The divorced mother of eight has brought Steve along for her turn on Celebrity Apprentice. When In Touch called Steve’s room at the Trump International Hotel (where the cast is put up) on the evening of March 30 — it was Kate who answered the phone!
“[Usually] Steve and Kate would have one room and the kids would have a separate room when they traveled. It’s confusing to the children,” Jon says of the accommodation arrangements Kate always made when she was on the road. Clearly, he’s not surprised that she still shares the same room with Steve.
“It’s not a work situation. I have always thought they were together,” Jon stresses.
Apparently, the cast and crew on Celebrity Apprentice are just as convinced that Kate is having an affair with a married man and making no effort to hide it, as well. “He goes everywhere with her but the boardroom. No one else has a bodyguard or assistant with them,” says a source on the set.
Meanwhile, Brandi Glanville, who is also featured on the show, is having such a hard time coping with the pressure that she’s back to drinking and taking pills to take the edge off, much to her friends’ disappointment and concern.
