Over the weekend, word got out that celebrity tattoo artist Kat Von D was done with Jesse James and had reconciled with Nikki Sixx. Kat and Jesse have denied the story with a romantic lunch.

Though only weeks ago Kat was saying she believed Jesse was “the one,” it transpired that she may actually have been using him to get her ex, Nikki Sixx jealous.

After she accomplished her mission, she went back to Nikki, kicking Jesse to the curb, it was said. As it turns out, it’s not true: Kat and Jesse are still together, still going strong, AceShowbiz reports.

“Celebrity tattoo artist Kat Von D has dispelled rumors she has split from boyfriend Jesse James by enjoying a romantic lunch with Sandra Bullock’s ex-husband on Saturday, October 23,” the publication writes.

“The couple, which began dating in August, was alleged to have ended its relationship earlier this month with Von D reportedly reuniting with her rocker ex Nikki Sixx,” AceShowbiz says.

“But the reality TV pair put to rest claims of a break-up by cozying up together during a Mexican meal at West Hollywood restaurant El Compadre,” says the same report.

Eyewitness are telling the media that the two seemed in a very good mood, and kissed and held hands throughout the entire meal, thus putting to rest talk that they’re no longer together.

Oddly enough, on October 24, a day after the supposed romantic date, TMZ, the same media outlet who broke the story that Kat and Jesse were not an item anymore, provided further proof that they’d split.

According to inside sources on Kat’s reality show “LA Ink,” she’s desperate to have producers cut out scenes about her ex-boyfriend Jesse (with emphasis on the “ex” part) because she wants to put that whole episode behind her.

“We’re told Kat – who was dating Jesse when the show was being taped – has decided that she no longer wants any traces of him on the TLC show ... and demanded that producers pull him from all future episodes,” TMZ says.

Kat is also trying to have certain scenes in which she trash-talks Nikki Sixx (her current boyfriend, admittedly) cut out, which is putting the producers in quite a predicament.

Threatened with legal action, the producers are willing to do Kat’s bidding, TMZ says, but there’s one huge obstacle they don’t know how to overcome.

“We’re told there’s so much content to remove... they’re worried they may to pack the show with extra commercials to fill out the time before the show airs Wednesday night,” TMZ explains.
