Ever since celebrity tattoo artist Kat Von D stepped out with her new man, Sandra Bullock’s ex-husband, Jesse James, all eyes have been on her. And they noticed more than her off-the-wall personal style.
There’s no denying that Kat has undergone a drastic transformation from how she looked when she first broke into the spotlight, and it’s not all down to the weight loss, either.
As Make Me Heal
notes, Kat has had quite a few interventions
, specifically to her face and chest, getting the bridge and tip of her nose slimmed down, and her breasts up a few cup sizes.
Still, she doesn’t seem to be stopping here either, even though she doesn’t look like she’s had more surgical work done.
In other words, says the aforementioned e-zine, Kat is looking very tight and plump in the face, which could only mean she’s had Botox and / or other fillers to look her best for the red carpet.
“With her tightly pulled face, with plump features, many bloggers have speculated that Kat has had a facelift and uses fillers to plump up, a la Madonna,” Make Me Heal writes.
“However Kat is way to young to have undergone such a dramatic procedure as a facelift, and it is more likely that she regularly receives Botox injections as well as dermal fillers like Juvederm and Restylane to get her flawless, doll-like complexion,” the e-zine notes.
Two surgeons agree in that Kat is not looking this fresh-faced and wrinkle-free thanks to her good genes.
“Kat Von D certainly keeps up her Botox regime to her forehead and around the eyes. Her dramatic brow arch has most likely been caused by consistent Botox injections,” Dr. Michael Salzhauer of Miami says.
“I do not believe she has undergone a facelift, but does appear to have enhanced the shape of her nose through a Rhinoplasty procedure,” Dr. Salzhauer adds.
Dr. Paul S. Nassif from Beverly Hills, California agrees, saying getting a facelift would actually be a very bad idea for Kat since she’s still young and doesn’t need it.
“Kat Von D appears to have had Botox and facial fillers. She is too young to have had a facelift performed, and would not benefit from any additional work at this time,” Dr. Nassif explains.
