Roel Schouwenberg, a senior researcher with Kaspersky's Americas, Global Research & Analysis Team, is the latest to announce canceling his RSA Conference engagement.

"I've canceled my talk at RSA. See you at the bar," the expert said on Twitter.

He hasn’t provided any additional details, but many people hope that he’ll attend Security BSides San Francisco, or TrustyCon, the conference where many of those who have canceled their RSA Conference talks will go to.

Tickets for TrustyCon cost only $50 and all proceeds will go to the EFF. F-Secure’s Mikko Hypponen, Google’s Chris Palmer, DEF CON Founder Jeff Moss, and Christopher Soghoian will attend the event.

The list of experts who have decided to boycott the RSA Conference due to RSA’s lack of transparency regarding a controversial contract with the NSA also includes Marcia Hoffman of the EFF, Mozilla’s Alex Fowler, Taia Global CEO Jeffrey Carr, Google’s Adam Langley, and Josh Thomas of Atredis.

OWASP has also cancelled a training class and a co-marketing agreement.
