Kaspersky Releases Tool to Eliminate Win32.Capper Trojan

CapperKiller from Kaspersky is a virus-fighting utility designed specifically to hunt down a single threat: Trojan Banker Win32.Capper. It is portable, so it does not require installation.

Apart from getting you rid of the Win32.Capper malware, Kaspersky’s tool can also restore the proxy settings that can easily be modified by malicious software.

There are no configuration settings available for Kasperky CapperKiller. All you have to do is start the scan and the application will search for any traces of the aforementioned malware. It searches both hard drives as well as removable storage devices by default and you can also set it to scan network drives as well.

The application is too simple to be versatile, and before starting the verification procedure it asks you to close any running web browser.
