Kaspersky Lab rolled out recently a new product called Kaspersky Internet Security – Multi-Device, a solution designed to provide top-notch protection for the most commonly used devices (PCs, Macs and Android smartphones and tablets).

The new product is actually a single license to benefit from the combined protection of the Kaspersky Internet Security solutions already available for Windows ($59,95 / 45 EUR), Mac ($59,95 / 45 EUR) and Android ($14.95 / 11 EUR) platforms. However, it provides one year of protection, on up to five devices.

Kaspersky also offers a 20% discount at the moment, which drops the original $99.95 / 75 EUR price to $79.95 / 60 EUR.

If a new device is purchased, the user has the possibility to move the protection from the old device to the fresh one. A single license is required for enabling protection on all systems.

On Android devices, there is web browsing protection to keep the user safe from phishing attempts or malicious websites.

Anti-theft features are also included, with the ability to locate the missing device based on GPS tracking and cellular signals. Commands can be executed remotely to ensure that the data on the lost smartphone tablet becomes inaccessible (device lock and wipe).

Additional measures that can be taken to retrieve the device include activating the built-in camera and taking picture of the current possessor.

On Mac systems, the product ensures protection against all range of malware (those targeting PCs, too), and provides advanced parental control features for safe using of the Internet by children.

"With Kaspersky Internet Security – Multi-Device, we ensure customers are safe while browsing, shopping, banking, and moreover that they can proactively safeguard themselves against the constant flurry of cyberthreats with our award-winning technologies," said Justin Priestley, senior vice president, Consumer Sales.
