Kaspersky Lab, leading developer of secure content management solutions that protect against viruses, Trojans, worms, spyware, hacker attacks and spam, presents a new version of its product for antivirus protection of corporate networks - Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.5 for Microsoft ISA Server 2004 Enterprise Edition.

Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Microsoft ISA Server 2004 Enterprise Edition is a system for anti-virus monitoring of files transferred using the HTTP and FTP
protocols via Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2004 Enterprise Edition. If malicious code is detected, the system blocks any further transmission of such code, completely ruling out penetration of infected files and web pages to the enterprise network.

One of the main technological innovations in the new Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.5 for Microsoft ISA Server 2004 Enterprise Edition is support for installing the product on server arrays running Microsoft ISA Server 2004 Enterprise Edition, making it possible to use the solution to protect large corporate networks. The solution provides centralized management of antivirus protection parameters and the antivirus database updating procedure on all servers in the array.

The new version of the product inherits all the features of its predecessor, Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.6 for Microsoft ISA Server 2000 Enterprise Edition, including configuration of virus scanning parameters and notification of scanning results, lists of trusted servers and object types excluded from scanning, automatic updating of anti-virus databases over the Internet on schedule, and monitoring the program's operation using standard Windows tools.
