Karl Lagerfeld isn't exactly the one to mince his words but, even for him, some of the things he says are a bit out there. The famous fashion designer is now making headlines for calling Pippa Middleton, the sister of the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, ugly in the face.
Uncle Karl has a reputation for calling out celebrities on what he perceives as their biggest flaws, whether said celebrities want that or not.
After
insulting Adele by calling her “fat” in one of his most recent interviews, Lagerfeld is now taking on the Royals, British tabloid
The Sun reports.
Pippa Middleton, for instance, the one who got plenty of media attention during her sister's wedding to Prince William because of her amazing dress and the way it flattered
her behind, should consider doing her best to hide her face and show just that part of her body which earned her international “fame.”
“Kate Middleton has a nice silhouette and she is the right girl for that boy. I like that kind of woman, I like romantic beauties,” Lagerfeld said of the Duchess of Cambridge.
“On the other hand, her sister struggles. I don't like the sister's face. She should only show her back,” he added.
Lagerfeld might not find Pippa's face quite to his liking but, in the same interview, he has nothing but nice words to say about Victoria Beckham, the former Posh Spice Girl who has managed to earn a name for herself as a respectable fashion designer.
“She is great. I like her a lot. I have known her for many years. She had a career as a singer. She has a beautiful husband and stunning children and now she makes a career in fashion,” Karl gushes.
“And that body, after four children. There are not so many who have a body like that. She is very disciplined. We have the same eating habits. We did a full fashion shoot with her styled as Coco Chanel in less than three hours,” he adds.
