14 DAY TRIAL // In what is being interpreted as the first sign that Kim Kardashian is truly heartbroken because her marriage to Kris Humphries didn’t work out, the star has banned cameras from her life, pulling the plug on a planned E! Christmas special.
Kim may have rushed to file for divorce after just 72 days of married bliss, but that’s not to say she isn’t having a hard time coping with it.
After the divorce announcement, she went under the radar for a while, with reports saying she planned on staying out of the spotlight until early next year, when she was supposed to start shooting for a new season of her reality show.
The New York Post is now confirming this, saying it has it on very good authority that Kim has pulled the plug on a planned Christmas special with the entire family.
“Sources tell us the Kardashian klan was in talks to produce a festive Kardashian Khristmas special on E!, but the idea has been scrapped since Kim’s divorce from Kris Humphries,” the Post writes.
However, it wasn’t just Kim’s heartbreak that stood in the way of a Christmas special, a spy reveals: there was also the issue of scheduling conflicts that worked against the idea becoming reality.
“It didn’t look promising due to schedule conflicts, but once Kim’s divorce happened it was definitely not possible,” says the source.
A Karadshian rep would not commit an answer beyond “I haven’t heard anything about [it].”
As noted above, the cancelation of the reported TV special has been getting people in the blogosphere talking about whether this isn’t a sign that Kim is really devastated about the divorce.
In other words, for the first time since the shocking and much-debated divorce announcement, people are starting to think that maybe – just maybe – Kim’s rushed marriage to Kris Humphries wasn’t just a sham as they previously thought.
