As if the ongoing backlash Kim Kardashian is getting for her allegedly fake marriage to Kris Humphries wasn't enough, the family is again at the center of a media storm. All the products branded with the Kardashian name are made in foreign sweatshops, it has emerged.

Ahead of the weekend, Radar Online has released the latest cover of its print magazine, Star, together with a resume of what we'll be able to find in it once it hits newsstands.

Admittedly, the Kardashians endorse forced labor because all the products branded with the Kardashian name (which includes anything from handbags to clothes and other accessories) are made using illegal, slave labor.

“The Kardashian family are endorsing and selling fashion products manufactured in foreign sweatshops, where workers, some as young as sixteen years old, are abused and virtually imprisoned,” Radar writes.

The report comes from the Institute for Global Labour and Human Rights, which is now pleading with the famous family to stop all such activities.

“The Kardashians are in bed with some pretty bad people,” says Charles Kernaghan, executive director of the Institute for Global Labour and Human Rights, confirming that the Kardashians know only too well what they're doing.

“Not only are celebrities like the Kardashians taking advantage of these workers, they are holding hands with a government that spits on democracy and women’s rights,” he adds.

Even more shockingly, Li Qiang, executive director of China Labor Watch, confirms that the family knows of the situation, but they choose to ignore it because they're raking up too much profit.

“People like the Kardashians are producing their products in China because they will get more profit, since the labor cost is so low compared to the United States and other countries,” Qiang says for the same publication.

So far, the Kardashians have not responded in any way to the allegations made in the press. Knowing them, though, it wouldn't be a stretch to assume they will be doing so very soon.
